It my Christmas Eve tradition to post this:

It's fun way to prove Santa was outside of the house or coming out of the chimney on Christmas morn last year -- but it's only fitting I share it again.

Does Santa come to your house?

Want to leave more evidence than a bite out of a cookie, sipped milk and presents?

How about a boot print?

Here's how to make your own Santa boot print the cheap and easy way:

You'll need:

Card board

Canned snow or baby powder or flour

Marker

Scissors

What to do:

Trace a shoe print on your card board.

Make a distinct upper sole and heel

Cut it out.

Now figure out where you want a "boot print"

You can tape down your stencil or not.

Spray the canned snow on the stencil or shake the baby powder over it.

Now flip the stencil over and space it out in a stride pattern and repeat.

You could sprinkle a little glitter on top too if you want some extra magic.

These kits usually go for $5 or more.  Some on the internet are $15.

You've saved a bundle.

Canned snow is around a $1 at Walmart.
