Shopping Halloween 2013 Clearance Tips (Costumes, crafts, make-up & more)

In the coming weeks we'll see the 75 to 90 percent off Halloween items discounts.  It can be lucrative if you plan ahead.

What to look for:

Solid paper goods for future holidays or birthday parties.

Toys and treats that may be generic for teacher treasure box donations.

Baby's first Halloween items are great if you can find them dirt cheap and save them for a baby shower gift next year of course.

Crafting items.

Baking items

Holiday theme groceries -- versions of the products you would normally use but they have holiday themes.  They may be clearanced down to well below the average price for the product.

Even homegoods and products like bath towels, blankets and more.

The main thing to look for would be costumes.  Sometimes you can snag great deals  for next year or for dress up and pretend play trunks as Christmas gifts.

ALSO IF YOU BUY THE MAKE-UP OR FACE PAINT, MAKE SURE YOU FREEZE IT SO IT WON'T TURN RANCID.
