Aside from a health concern with one of my daughters , 2017 was a great year, however, I was distracted by non-necessities, so my overall theme for 2018 is to use my time more wisely on the people and things that are important to me. I’ll update you on my family’s financial goals for 2018 in another post. Check email.

With everyone, including the mothers, working long hours, it was rare to see my Dad during December except when I was working at the store. Everyone worked during the month before Christmas, including our mothers who were otherwise traditional homemakers, and by Christmas Eve, we were all exhausted.
