One month down for 2019. We have only one financial goal for 2019 and we made some progress in January. I’m going to challenge myself to use up cleaning supplies and health & beauty products before buying anything new. Invite friends over for a potluck/game night, instead of going out to dinner.

When that loan was paid off, we put that full monthly amount towards the third loan and this continued until September 2019 when we made our last non-mortgage loan payment. We methodically worked through our plan and in September 2019 we were treated with the ultimate reward for our hard work– freedom from our non-mortgage debts!

Our 2018 Financial Goals

If nothing changes, this loan will be paid off by end of 2019, but I’d love to move that up and say adios to this loan! If not, we’ll start saving in 2019. We will need to cut back on dining out, but it is unrealistic for me to say we won’t eat at restaurants this year. Move up the Student Loan Payoff Date.
