So will 2019 be any different for me? My word for 2019 is REDUCE. My plan is for 2019 to be different. She made me think a lot about things I can do to reduce unnecessary waste in my life and home from changing how I grocery shop to rethinking one-use plastics and other non-recyclables that I encounter.

Our 2023 Financial Goals

The last time we wrote numbers-driven financial goals was 2019. <<— Once we paid off our non-mortgage debts in 2019, we started saving some of the debt snowball money for college savings. However, I will re-focus on my meal planning/grocery shopping routine to try to get this number down.

How We Frugal-ed in February 2020

On Friday morning, I pull into the drive-through during my allotted time and my groceries are placed in the back of my car. In the past, I made my meal plan and grocery shopped on Sundays. It was Sept 17, 2019 and I have about 1/3 box left. It would take about 1-2 hours of my Sunday afternoons and I wanted that time back.
