About the author:

Lydia Ola Taiwo started creative writing as a safe haven to help her recover from PTSD caused by childhood abuse.

Married with six wonderful grown up children, they, along with her husband and therapist encouraged her to rewrite her story.

She says: “Hopefully my books will build and empower children, especially those that have gone through trauma and abuse. When these stories are read, my hope and desire is for them to be able to build resilience in children so that they will thrive in the world, no matter where they are, or what they are going through.”

Her debut book ‘A Broken Childhood’ won the Non-Fiction Finalist Award in 2020 The Wishing Shelf Book Award.
