How does this work? I bought the 4 items to get the .20 off / gallon, but I don’t see it anywhere on my receipt.
Janelle says
I also bought three ham steaks for around $4 or under each which gave me 40 cents off a gallon, so $12 in gas. So free :)!!
Jen says
Shannon – It looks like there is still a live band-aid coupon at coupons.com….
liz says
i can’t get the stayfree coupons to come up. Is there a suggested zipcode?
At the instant savings stores this should still be a good deal. My ad says buy 4 get $3 off so they should still be free…
Tiffany says
Liz, I think the stayfree coupon is gone now.. I was able to print 3, but I just brought it up again to print my 4th and its not there anymore.
Shannon says
Liz, I think the coupon is gone now! I went to print it earlier and it was there and looked now and its gone.
Jen says
The stayfree coupons are coming up for me on coupons.com with a zip of 90210.

Gas can tip- the best thing I found to fill cars from gas cans is a siphon. My husband was ready to put an end to my gas points full savings because of spilling gas trying to pour into into the car. We tried different cans, different spouts and finally bought a siphon that has a fitting that you just shake up and down to to get the gas flowing. He is happy, I can take advantage of the full savings and get 30 gallons. I got ours at Pep Boys.
Grace says
So I mentioned to my husband about getting a siphon and he said we already have one! DUH! it’s been in his tool box and this whole time I have been spilling my EXPENSIVE gas. LOL. Not anymore. Can’t wait to give this thing a try. :)
Shannon says
LOL Grace!
Melanie says
I agree that buying the gas containers to be sure to get your 30 gallons is a great idea. The trick is just getting the gas in your car without spilling and making your entire car/garage smell like gas – I still have yet to figure that part out! lol
Shannon says
Melanie, I could not help but cracking up laughing. :)
Diane says
We got a syphon and that works great! We were having the same problem but not anymore.
Lydia says
I wish they would drop these gas deals and just go back to the instant savings. The closet Giant that has gas is at least 15-20 min. from me and is nowhere near where I typically travel. :(
Robin says
I love the gas deals. You make out so much better with the gas deals than the instant savings. I think I would cry if my local stores switched to the instant savings.
tammy says
Since my gas tank never takes the full 30gallons i went and bought a couple of gas cans so i maximize the savings..so thats sonething u can try..
miranda says
That’s such a simple idea but one I never wouild have thought of. Thank you for the suggestion!!! We have .60 off per gallon right now with a big shop planned for Saturday!
Robin says
The extra gas cans are definitely a great investment for the gas deals. Wal-mart has the 5 gallon cans for $9 something. I’ve paid very little for gas since the beginning of the summer.
Jenny G says
I take extra gas cans everytime I am using my gas points…then I just fill up the car at home and save up points again for the next refill (or use gas for lawn tractor/equipment or snow blower). Works Great!
Grace says
Gosh I wish gas points were not expiring on the 14th :( I did enough deals to get 30 gallons for $8.4 today . Now I would need to burn through that to get another 30 gallons by the time they expire.
