FUN WITH EAST INDIAN FOOD AND LANGUAGE

Want to know what it's like to be learning Hindi? Here are some study guides for the alphabet we've been learning:











Looks intimidating at first. Once you actually get into it, though, it makes sense rather easily. Except for certain constructs that there are no English equivalencies.  Also, we have yet to speak it with someone that doesn't already know English as a 2nd language. Here in the midwest, most East Indians are at least conversational in English, if not fluent. But, it's the language of deep thought that were are wanting to share things with them. 

We'll post mostly on Facebook about our Hindi, Urdu, Gujarati, and Punjabi experiences. This post was really just about the FOOD!
