National Fossil Day event Wednesday from 4-6 pm.
They will be unveiling some of the new Elasmosaur material found this summer with special guest Noah Traylor (middle-school student who made the discovery)
The Dept. of Engineering 3-D printing lab will demonstrate how to scan and print fossils!
Astronomy Professor Dr. Ron Buta will be showing some of his recent fossil track way donations
As well as fossils from our own collections and activities for kids
At 6 pm Jim Lacefield will be giving a talk on his recently re-published book "Lost Worlds in Alabama Rocks" followed by a book signing.
