We had a full day of fun with exciting and hilarious shows, the animal petting zoo, a jousting tournament and so much food! The Arizona Renaissance Festival is a medieval amusement park, a 13-stage theater, a 30-acre circus, and an arts and crafts fair. One of my favorite shows was glass blowing.

My now-husband took me there when we were dating and it was such a fun date to enjoy all the entertainment, food, and shopping. It is a medieval amusement park, a 12-stage theater, a 30-acre circus, an arts and crafts fair, a jousting tournament and a feast — all rolled into one non-stop, day-long family adventure.

Or perhaps it's because when those shimmering strands of bulbs go up it means that the holidays are upon us, bringing with it thoughtful DIY gifts, delicious food, and so many fun activities to share with friends and family. Free entertainment, food, and other activities for the whole family take place throughout the month-long attraction.

We had a full day of fun with exciting and hilarious shows, the animal petting zoo, a jousting tournament, animal rides (elephant, llama, or camel) and so much food! The festival does get crowded, but it is big enough that once you get past the entrance, you will have plenty of space.

Admission is $5 and is good for all three days and benefits community arts projects and scholarships. Free Nonstop Entertainment on two stages in cooperation with Harrisburg Midtown Art Center. The event features wares from local artists and craftsmen, as well as great food, fun games, and exciting amusement rides.
