This past winter I cleaned out closets and drawers in my quest to minimize and downsize our stuff and donated everything to the thrift store, rather than hold on to it for the spring sale. April 2021 – I found $715.62. Last year I made very little money and swore I was done having yard sales. It wasn’t worth my time.

In April, we received a small tax refund and I put $100 of our refund into our Christmas Savings account. We didn’t sell much, mainly because I didn’t think we were going to be home for the neighborhood yard sale this year and I took a van full of stuff to the thrift store about a month before the yard sale.
