I have to run to 2nd semester orientation…

But first….I got my grade back from my exam yesterday, and I only got one wrong!

So, now, funny enough, I have exam grades of 60, 59, 58, 57, and 56 in that class, just not in that order. 😉

120 is my semester-long class; the bread and butter of this semester. And then in my two half-semester classes, I finished with a 96 in each.

I know it doesn’t matter in the long run, because C’s get degrees, but I am personally pleased to have maintained my 4.0 for at least one semester of nursing school. Especially because this semester had some extra challenges.

I hear that future semesters are harder, so don’t worry; I am not gonna be disappointed in myself if I start getting some B’s. I always figure that I will just go in and do my best, and whatever happens, happens.

By the way, the other day, we were having a discussion here in the comments about whether it’s important to aim super high in class.

And then in a class meeting that evening, the professor in charge of the first semester told us that students who barely squeak by in the first semester start to really struggle in subsequent semesters.

So, that made me feel like the hard work I’m putting in is worth it. I’m well-prepared to tackle the bigger challenges that are coming my way the next three semesters.
