Six Flags Over Georgia will have a school supplies donation drive like last year and also like last year donors will receive half off admission when they drop off 6 items.

The Back to School Supply Drive presented by Great Clips is August 6 through 10.

HERE ARE THE DETAILS:

Individuals that donate six or more new school supplies will receive 50% off a one-day general adult admission ticket to be used on the day of their donation. Supplies will be collected outside of the main gate at Six Flags Over Georgia.

All of the supplies will be donated directly to Kids in Need, a project of the Atlanta Community Food Bank.  Kids in Need is a free store for teachers from qualifying schools throughout Metro Atlanta. The donated supplies are available to teachers who represent schools that have at least 80% of their students enrolled in the National School Lunch Program.

Some suggested items to donate include pens, pencils, erasers, notebook paper, binders and backpacks.

Six Flags Over Georgia is offering a Summer Thrill Pass for just $54.99, the same price as a one-day admission. The Summer Thrill Pass includes unlimited visits to the park all summer long. The park is open daily through August 12.
