dollar tree, You will soon be able to use manufacturer coupons at Dollar Tree.

UPDATE -- Dollar Tree posted the official coupon policy. Go

Got a tip from a

reader that the

tore she shops mentioned they will soon accept coupons.

So I did a quick survey of area stores and all of the stores I spoke with confirmed they were on the list to start accepting coupons as soon as August 26.

A call to corporate was not immediately returned.

I did call Dollar Trees in other states and they provided the same information and the same policy guidelines.

Some stores said their roll out date could possibly be in September, however most will be ready to go by the projected launch date of Aug. 26.

Here's a brief overview of the coupon policy as read to me by one of their associates:

They will only accept 2  internet coupons per transaction

Do not take BOGO free coupons

Do not take any FREE coupons or coupons that require associates to write in the amount of purchase

No retailer retailer specific coupons

Coupons must be presented at time of purchase.

Coupons can't be redeemed for more than the value of the product.

Signage will appear in the store starting this week.

According to their corporate FAQ page here:

they still do not accept coupons.  I expect this to be updated soon.
