Mini Spiced Moist Bundt Cake with Maple Glaze

Mini Spiced Moist Bundt Cake with Maple Glaze
Makes 12 mini bundts or 1 12 cup bundt
Ingredients
- 3 1/2 cup All Purpose Flour
- 2 tsp of Baking Soda
- 1 tsp of Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp of Salt
- 2 tsp of Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp of Allspice
- 1/2 tsp of cardamom
- 1/2 tsp of Ginger
- 1/4 tsp of nutmeg
- a pinch of Ground Clove
- 1 cup of Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp of Vanilla
- 1/4 cup of softened Butter
- 4 Large Eggs
- 1 cup of Buttermilk
- 1 cup of unsweetened Apple Sauce
Ingredients For The Glaze
- 1/2 a cup of Powdered Sugar
- 1/4 tsp of Vanilla
- 1 tablespoon of Maple Syrup
- 1/2 a tsp of Cinnamon
Directions
Step 1 – Preheat the oven to 350. Spray the pans with cooking spray.
Step 2 – Whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and all the spices in a bowl. Mix the buttermilk and applesauce in another small bowl.
Step 3 – Beat sugar and butter in a mixer and then mix in vanilla.
Step 4 – Add in half the flour to the mixer. Blend until just combined. Add applesauce mixture. Mix in remainder of the flour.
Step 5 – Evenly divide the batter between the pans and bake for 25 minutes or until a knife comes out clean. Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack. Remove from pan and let cool completely before glazing.
Step 6 – Sift powdered sugar and cinnamon into a bowl. Whisk in vanilla and maple syrup. Drizzle over cakes and finish with some powdered sugar.
