Many of you have asked me about Saving Star Coupons. You do not need a special card, you simply LINK your existing store cards to your account.
SavingStar’s eCoupons are totally paperless coupons. There’s nothing to clip or print since they are 100% digital! They work at over 100 chains in 24,000 stores nationwide.
This is an awesome way to get even more savings at the store!
Here’s how it works:
- Select the eCoupons you like on the website or mobile app, and they are automatically linked to your store card.
- Use your card when you checkout and the money is added to your SavingStar account. (The savings don’t change your bill at the register and the savings are not printed on the receipt – they get deposited into your account within 7-30 days depending upon where you shop).
- Once your SavingStar account reaches $5 in savings, you can pick your payout from a bank account deposit, a PayPal account deposit, an Amazon gift card, or a donation to charity. More options to come!
Stores Include:
- Rite Aid
- CVS
- Redners
- Wegmans
- Superfesh
- Giant
- Acme
- Family Owned Markets
- Weis
- Superfresh
- Food Lion
- and Many More

Wow, this is a great idea and so different. Thanks for letting me know about the program.
Cara says
Will the coupon do doubling if the store offers to double coupon?
Shannon says
No they do not.

I already do the Upromise thing every month (which has been awesome for shaving several hundred dollars off my college loans thus far). Will these conflict? Or can I attach my card to both the SavingStar account and my Upromise accont?
Thanks!
Melissa says
Hmmm….I ran into someone at Giant tonight that started to use this program so I came home and looked it up. Sounds great as long as they follow through. I really don’t need one more thing to keep track of and jump through hoops to get my money back.
Kathy says
UPromise offers a similar service, I think. I forget to go to my Upromise account to do it most times but the coupon amounts are added to your UPromise account.
jen says

I bought 15 Friskies cat food cans at CVS about a month ago, and wrote to their customer service about not getting the $1 in my acocunt. They did NOTHING.
SavingStar says
Hi Donna – I just looked into your account based on what you wrote, and it looks like our customer team responded to you when you initially wrote in and mentioned that savings can take up to 30 days to post to your account depending on which store you shop. If you have any more questions please email us so we can help you out. Thanks, Josh

This is completely awesome!!! Thanks! I thought at first I would have to scan another card which knowing me I would forget lol. So it’s nice I can stay in my same routine and they are linked to my card.
Grace says
Thank you!
I’m guessing they offer different coupons every month? since most of these expire 6/30/11?
Shannon says
Yep they offer new ones each month.
Bonnie says
Can this ecouon be combined with a regular paper coupon?
Shannon says
Yes they can be stacked.
Angela says
Amazing!!!
