Was this a certain type of No Nonsense that was $2.49? At my Rite Aid it rang up as $4.76 and they insisted this was the correct price. I still had the $1.00 coupon to use, but it wasn’t as good of a deal! :-( Anyone else had issues with this?

Is the Therma Care limited to one per Wellness account? Anyone tried buying it more than once with the in ad coupon?
Debra says
@Tim, I bought 3 today…used 3 coupons and all 3 were free! HTH
emikom says
@Tim, i bought 2 in different transactions. my guess is those in-ad coupons work just like manu coupons.
Misti says
I didnt see any Similac for 11.99? The pack that the $5 coupon was for was $24!!
Penny says
There’s a $2 off 2 standup bags of Hershey’s drops you can use with the UPR deal to make them $1 a bag. Got a start on Easter baskets with those!
emikom says
I forgot to mention something about a cottonelle coupon that I found from another coupon database. it is $1.5/1 and the source is Bricks. When you try to use this it rings as “GRTNG CDR $1.50 T”. It looks like you are buying something instead of using a coupon plus paying for the tax as well!!! That must be a joke! Is something like that common in the “world of couponing”? :)
I just wanted to give you a heads up…
Shannon says
@emikom,
UMM wow — no that must be a bad barcode.
emikom says
the lysol products in the stores near me (Atlanta, GA area) is advertised as 2/$5 and $1 SCR. are the prices regional? also, is $1 UPR unadvertised or a monthly UPR? I appreciate your input.
Lydia says
Thanks for a the great job on these matchups!
Denise says
Hi Shannon,
I’ve had wierd heartburn lately, so I’m excited to try the zantac. I tried your link for the coupon, but it said the $5 offer was over, so I tried this website http://www.zantacotc.com/ and it worked! HTH someone else…heartburn=no fun!
Thanks!!
Shannon says
@Denise,
Yep link is dead now. Thanks for this Denise!
Allison says
Can you really use the $4 off Sinex coupon on NyQuil or DayQuil – even though the coupon specifically says Sinex and not a “Vicks” product?
If so, can you pair that WITH the Buy One Vicks Get One Puffs Free coupon?

@Shannon,
That’s what I was hoping, but just wanted to make sure! Thank you!
Monica says
Never mind… it said lysol desinfecting wipes but it printed as lysol hand soap system, isnt that strage?
Monica says
Shannon, thanks for all your help. I noticed on the Feb printables there is a 1 off lysol wipes, can I use that one and get the UPR?
Thanks
Leanne says
hi I was able to get (3) of the paper plates – used the $5/3 in ad coupon as well ad the vv from March…I am not sure I was supposed to be able to do this – but it worked 3x$3.49-$10
Valerie says
@Leanne, What paper plates?
Christie says
@Valerie, This worked for me as well. They were the dixie paper plates. Mine were 3.99 in store. 3 packs for $2.
Holly says
@Leanne,
At first I thought this wouldn’t work, but the in-ad coupon is actually a manufacturer’s coupon, so no worries!
Melissa S says
My Colgate 2up did not print! I was wondering if it didn’t print for anyone else? I am going to call tomorrow about it, and luckily they are always good about mailing them out. By the way there is another good deal for the Biore and Curel lotion out there:
Buy $15 worth get $5 UP
Biore 2/12
Curel 4.99
16.99
use BOGO Biore in todays paper
$3 off $15
Curel printed coupon 1.50 off not sure if its still available
6.49
bought a filler to use another up reward
paid 7up
got 5up back
Also there is the BOGO for Trident Vitality its .99 cents this week at Rite Aid and there is a .50 Rite Aid VV, there was one last week to which would make 2 packs free.
krissi says
@Melissa S, I don’t see last month’s VV for this. I only see this month’s. I am pretty sure I watched them all last month. Just FYI. But 50 cents is still good for 2 packs of this gum. Thanks for the idea.
Corrina H. says
@krissi, The video was added towards the end of the end of the Feb VV month, as was a Viva paper towels video (and some others too). I always suggest checking during that last week to see if Rite Aid has added some videos. They usually do.
Also be sure to watch them as soon as you can at the beginning of the month as they have been known to pull some of the VV before the end of the month.
sandy says
I was charged $5.99 for Comtrex and $8.49 for the Keri lotion . Didn’t see it in the ad for the lower price.
Amy says
Apparently, NYC Cosmetics are also Buy One, Get One 50% off. So:
Pay $1.99 and $.99, use (2) $1 off coupons, and get (2) $1 UPR back
Chu says
FYI..my walgreens store had $0.50 off colgate total manufacturer coupons at the toothpaste section.. Go grab some if you don’t have any coupons for the deal this week :)
Lauren says
Hi Shannon! Thanks for your matchups…I love your site and I consider you my Rite Aid expert:) I made a mistake on my transaction this morning – totally forgot to clip the ThermaCare coupon from the ad. So I paid the full 3.99 for it. I knew my total was off, but I couldn’t figure out why until I left the store. Of course I paid completely with UPS and my store has told me before that they can’t refund or return since I didn’t pay anything OOP. I know that’s not right. Do you have experience with this?
Shannon says
Lauren, I have heard this is the case in many stores. However, I would try to return and if it doesn’t happen, call customer service to get their help.
Lauren says
@Shannon,
Okay – thanks!
Lauren says
@Lauren,
I did go ahead and call customer service just to see what they would say about the return policy. She said I should absolutely be able to return any item even if I paid for it with UPS and she said they should refund it with cash! So good deal. I made sure to compliment my store up and down because I love them, but she is going to send an email to management just to clarify the policy. I went in today and they helped me out without a problem. Love my Rite Aid!!!
Tara says
@Lauren, My UPRs didn’t print this morning on the Lysol wipes and I didn’t feel like messing around calling the number so I returned them. I got cash back for my returns even though I paid with UPR. The manager said it balances out in their system when they count the UPR coupons since they are counted like cash as a form of payment.
themommyliza says
@Tara, you may have already figured this out, but I think the wipes only get the SCR this time around, no UPRs. That’s why none printed.
Ann says
@Lauren,
When a similar situation happened to me I took my unused coupon and receipt back to the store and explained the situation. They did a post-coupon transaction in which the coupon was applied to the purchase from that receipt and I received cash back.
kd says
When you look at your ad online does it show the coupon section? Mine does’t so I was wondering if that means when I get to the store that our ad won’t have the coupons. I don’t get the ad in my Sunday paper becuase I’m actully 30 minutes away from the nearest Rite Aid but I do try to get there at least twice a month. Also the SCR’s are not mentioned in my ad online are they in your ad? Does this mean they don’t qualify at my store? I’m in Ohio. Any help would be greatly appreaciated. Thanks :)
Shannon says
No it doesnt show the coupons, but it is regional.
Emily Steffans says
There is also a $1 off any package of Ghirardelli Squares available at http://www.ghirardellisquared.com to use with the ups.
Emily Steffans says
There is a $1.00 off any Ghirardelli Squares coupon from http://www.ghirardellisquared.com to use as well with the ups.
rain says
My rite aid has Keri lotion as being regular price of $8.47. Is it certain regions price is $6.99?
themommyliza says
@rain, maybe they didn’t get a chance to put up the tag? You could have them do a price check to be sure.
linda says

Liza in NC says
Isn’t the Clean & Clear a mfq? Can you use it in conjunction with the printable? Is it because they have different bar codes? And if you can use the two together, can you use other mfqs with these in-ad coupons?
Shannon says
@Liza in NC,
No its not a manufacturer coupon – its a Rite Aid in Ad Coupon that can be stacked with a manufacturer. —
themommyliza says
@Shannon, yay! :)
Kristina says
It looks like there is a $1 SCR when you purchase 1 Lysol disinfectant spray (limit 1). If you buy 2 and pair that with (2) $1 printables and the UPR, it’s like getting 2 for free!
Kathy says
@Kristina, It looks like it’s only the $1 SCR and not the $1 UPR. My ad only has a $1 SCR listed. I think Shannon ment to type SCR instead of UPR.
Corlien says
@Kristina,
The Lysol Disinfectant Spray is listed in the add as $3.99 with a $1 SCR. It is not listed as one that gives a $1 UP when you buy 2. If I am mistaken, please someone let me know, as I really need the spray!! In fact, I don’t see any Lysol products with UPs. Am I missing something, Shannon?? Where do you see the $1 UP when you buy 2??
Liza in NC says
@Kristina, at least in my area, the disinfectant spray is $3.99, with a $1 SCR, no UPR. Is it different elsewhere? It looked like the best deal I could get on that was $1.99 for 1. My ad had three sections for Lysol products. One was the one I described above, and the other two were 1) 4 in 1 bathroom cleanser/tub and tile aerosol/neutra air fabric mist, pay 2/$5, get $1 SCR, and 2) all purpose cleaner/anti-bacterial kitchen cleaner/all purpose trigger spray/bowl cleaner/wipes, pay2/$4, get $1 SCR.
Corlien says
@Liza in NC,
I agree with you, Liza. I made a comment about this yesterday saying the exact same thing as you, but somehow my comment is still waiting in moderation. I do not see any UPs for Lysol products this week, only the SCRs that you mentioned. I am in DE, so I don’t think the deal is regional!! But I am not the expert! Maybe you could clear this up Shannon. Thanks so much! you are terrific!!
Shannon says
Guys,
Your going to have to bear with me this week – my mother had major surgery and I spent most of my week in the hospital last week — and she is now in need of daily care — I am not going to be able to tend to your comments this week — so you guys are going to have to figure stuff out amongst yourself this week without me! sorry but I just wont have the time to review 1,000’s of comments :(
Corlien says
@Shannon,
So sorry, Shannon. I know how it is to tend to a sick mom. My mom had a stroke in October, which left her basically blind. She has full time care givers, because none of her kids live local except my older brother, and he travels a lot for his job. Please forgive my insensitivity. I did see your post last week about “Life Happens”, but did not realize your situation. I hope she will be O.K. You are really an exceptional person, and so many of us appreciate you more than words can say. I pray that your mom will recover and be well again. I had major surgery last year for rectal cancer, and I know recovery is difficult. Please take care!
Shannon says
@Corlien,
You weren’t be insensitive, I am just up to my ears and not sure how I am going to keep up! Of course, my bloggy friends are great and helping me out, but I am kinda out of touch!
themommyliza says
@Shannon, hope this week is much better and calmer than last week. We know you have a ‘real life.’ I think I can safely speak for all who read your blog that we are so grateful for all the time you invest in teaching us this couponing thing. :) Thank you!
Shannon says
@themommyliza,
Thanks!
Donna says
Hi Shannon, I am thinking of you and your family. 6 years ago my mom was in the hospital for 2 months and I can still remember the physical and mental exhaustion from going to the hospital every day. Stay well yourself.
Shannon says
@Donna,
Thank you Donna and everyone else.. I appreciate it.
Kristina says
@Liza in NC,
Sorry guys, I guess I got excited about a possible deal.. shocking for us couponers, right?!? :) Thanks for catching me. And thank you Shannon for all you do, even in difficult times. We all would understand though whenever you need a break!
kristin says
can you explain how the king size candy bars are free?
also, I think there is a coupon n the 2/27 P&G for a free Puffs wyb Vick’s.
Hannah says
@kristin,
Just looked and there IS a free Puffs with Vick’s purchase! Woohoo!
King of coupons says
If the king size bars are 1.59 and I use a buy one king size get a free king size drops or the $2/2 how does this make 2 free. My math is $1.18 for 2 after coupons or 1.59 for 2? I’m interested in this deal so any help is appreciated.
Shannon says
@King of coupons,
If they are $1.59 for 2 – you use the $2.00/2
Buy (2) $1.59
Use $2.00 off 2
adjusted to $1.59
2 Free
King of coupons says
@Shannon, Oh I’m so sorry I missed the BOGO. I thought they were on sale dor $1.59 ea Thank you very much for the reply.
Shannon says
@King of coupons,
KOC, The $2.00/2 is actually the incorrect item.
Pauline says
@Shannon, there is a vv for 2 reeses you can use too, right?
Vanessa says
@King of coupons, If I remember correctly, I think the $2.00 off 2 coupon was for the stand-up bags only. But if you use the buy one, get one coupon king size candy coupon, you can get 2 free with the buy one, get one sale.
Jenna says
@King of coupons, rite aid’s sale is By one bar, get one free. Pair that sale with your BOGO coupon and two for free. (Though my coupon does say up to $1.29 value)
Corlien says
@Jenna,
My store gave me $1.29 for the coupon, so I got two for 30 cents. Pretty good still, even though not free!!
Mommycouponer says
There is a rite aid VV coupon for the no nonsense too!!
Shannon says
@Mommycouponer,
sweet!
Kathy says
@Mommycouponer, you can’t use 2 Rite Aid coupons together on the same product though – right? Or am I missing something?
themommyliza says
@Kathy, both of mine went through just fine last night. I think they had different bar codes.
Nancy says
There is also a RA $1/1 Lysol Hand Touch soap system coupon from last month’s Video Values.
Kathy says
@Nancy, Now I wish that I had watched that video.
