Today is the start of Baby Week on the Bargain Mom blog in honor of Babypalooza.

What's Babypalooza?

Alabama Baby & Child Magazine's Babypalooza is Aug. 27 in Hoover

at the old Winn Dixie in Hoover just behind Baptist Hoover.

There are more than 100 vendors giving special discounts, freebies, tips and more.

This week on the Bargain Mom blog it will be all about babies, saving money on baby products, tips and more.

Don't worry there will be other deals too.

But I'm excited to share with you a great event that you'll find most helpful as you welcome your new baby.

Here's how organizers describe it:"Babypalooza is a FREE celebration and expo for new, expectant, and hopeful parents. It's a day full of fun and information with exhibitors highlighting everything from health and fitness to nursery design, infant and maternity fashion, mommy and me classes, baby photographers, and many more."

Experts will be on-hand to share tips and information on pregnancy, parenting, nursery design, and health and beauty. Interactive entertainment includes the citywide baby shower complete with cake, baby bingo, and prizes, the diaper derby and dancing baby area, fashion shows, and product sampling and demonstrations.

Full Moon BBQ will be there be grilling outside and offering lunch selections of pulled pork or chicken sandwiches and ribs plus their famous sweet tea and half-moon chocolate chip cookies.
