Yesterday was my husband's birthday and he wanted a banana pudding for his 'birthday treat' instead of cake.
Find by me - I love banana pudding or as some Southerns say nanar pudding.
This is an easy no-fail recipe featuring 4 ingredients:
You'll need 2 large bowls
2 boxes of vanilla instant pudding
4 large ripe (but not too ripe) bananas
1 box of vanilla wafers (I prefer store brand wafers as opposed to Nabisco. The store brand are crunchier)
1 large tub of cool whip
Directions:
Mix the pudding as per the directions and slice your bananas into the pudding once it's set and stir gently as to not bruise the bananas.
Layer wafers, pudding, cool whip until you get to the top of your empty 2nd bowl you didn't use for mixing pudding.
TIPS --
This pudding is delish served instantly but it's FANTASTIC served after a few hours and it's chilled in the fridge.
