Today's craft - button & felt Christmas tree forest. What we used: 1 piece of green felt 25 cents Walmart, piece of cardboard, fabric glue, lots of old buttons, 2 skewers cut in half, yarn, mini-clay pot. Directions: Cut felt & cardboard into triangles glue together. Add buttons with fabric glue, let it dry for several hours, attach skewers to backside of trees. Optional: Wrap pot with yarn and secure it with tape or glue. Stuff oasis or styrofoam into pot. Insert trees. I used a small circle of white felt on top of the foam to resemble snow. Done. Don't forget to write child's name, age & date on the back of the tree and take pictures.
