One of the oldest holiday choir celebrations is coming to movie theaters for a special, live concert event, just in time for the Christmas season. This year marks the 100th annual St. Olaf College's Christmas Festival, and to celebrate they are broadcasting the event— Rejoice, Give Thanks, and Sing — live to nationwide movie theaters on Dec. 4. The concert features more than 500 St. Olaf College student musicians, all members of five choirs and the St. Olaf Orchestra, and will be broadcast directly from the Northfield, Minn. campus. The movie event will begin with a video retrospective of the Christmas Festival. This is a great way to kick off the holiday season, and the perfect event to inspire the whole family.
