This weekend is the weekend to celebrate Valentine's Day with your kids.
Whether you having a party at home, making cards for the grandparents or friends, of course we want to do it on the cheap.
Here are some ideas.
The first is a picture I've treasured everyday since my daughter made it last year at school.
The 'I LOVE EWE' sign is easy to make.
Here's what you'll need:
Card stock or thick paper
Black ink pad or black paint (You could also trace an outline of your child's hand with a black marker and let them color it in)
Reinforcement circles (if they have another name let me know) {you could also use cotton balls}
Tiny ribbon and either a sequin or button (blue or use a blue marker)
Directions:
Cover the child's hand in the ink or paint
Place the child's hand finger tips towards the bottom of the page.
Make an imprint
Letit dry -- it won't take long.
Then use the stickers to fill up the palm of the hand . This will be the sheep's fur.
Place a ribbon around the neck and attach the eye
Color the green grass and blue sky
With a black marker write "I LOVE EWE" at the bottom.
