Have you ever wat
episode featured a guy that reused dryer lint for starting fires and composting.
I have a grocery bag in m
After a month of laundry it's full.
Which got me thinking, there must be other uses as well. I remember as a child making crafts with lint in Girl Scouts.
My husband suggested using it as stuffing for a pillow.
So here's what I came up with after a search of the web and what other folks are doing with lint:
1. Make Lint Paper - Go
for directions.
2. Make Lint Clay - Go
.
3. Make Lint Papier Mache - Go
.
4. Keep indoor pets warm, gerbils, hamsters etc.
5. Stockpile it for your dog house especially during winter months.
6. Add it to your composting area, go
the pile.
7. Use it as a mulch for house plants.
8. Use it as a fire starter combo with toilet paper or paper towel tubes.
9. Use it as a fire starter with a paper egg carton and melted wax.
10. Throw it in your back yard for the birds to use for nest building.
11. Use it for stuffing cushions -- I would use this in cushions for outdoor use, not indoor, since it's highly flammable.
I would love to hear your tips ....
