Whipped up a homemade salsa on the fly last week and it turned out pretty good.

1.  We were out of salsa in the pantry

2.  I did have cans and cans of crushed tomatoes from the Publix italian sale.

3.  I also had a can of salsa verde in the pantry.

4.  So now all I need to do is get creative.

1.  I poured the tomatoes in a bowl

2.  I poured the verde into the bowl

3. I bought a 'bunch' of cilantro from Winn Dixie for 99 cents

4.  I bought a lime for 25 cents at Winn Dixie

Salt and  hot sauce (both free after coupon)

Chopped up half the cilantro and used have the lime, you could make a huge batch just ad a second can of tomatoes and verde.

Use the whole lime and the whole bunch of cilantro.

This was a quick and easy recipe on the fly.  It took me 5 minutes to make.  I'm not kidding.

So tell me do you have an easy, cheap but yummy homemade salsa recipe?  I would love to hear it!
