Have you noticed yet another new feature on Facebook?   It's called INTERESTS.

You'll find it on the left side of your newsfeed under apps, subscriptions, groups, etc.

Click it.

Once you do you can search by topic or page and add them to a list.  (Think Twitter lists)

Select the person, page, etc you want to follow in this new list.

For instance if you wanted cooking, you would start in the FOOD category.

Technology will garner GEEK suggestions.  (No offense intended on that reference)

Entertainment - celebrities and other related topics.

Topics are pages, not necessarily everyone talking about a topic.

Once you create the list it will appear as a tab on the left side panel of your newsfeed.

Click it and it will have the posts from the pages you added to the list.

1. You can name it whatever you want -- Breaking News, Cooking, Sports, Lifestyle etc.

2.  This is your version of the newspaper.

3.  You can either make the list public, share it with friends or keep it private
