Many of you have asked me about Saving Star Coupons.
SavingStar’s eCoupons are totally paperless coupons. There’s nothing to clip or print since they are 100% digital! They work at over 100 chains in 24,000 stores nationwide.
This is an awesome way to get even more savings at the store!
Here’s how it works:
- Select the eCoupons you like on the website or mobile app, and they are automatically linked to your store card.
- Use your card when you checkout and the money is added to your SavingStar account. (The savings don’t change your bill at the register and the savings are not printed on the receipt – they get deposited into your account within 7-30 days depending upon where you shop).
- Once your SavingStar account reaches $5 in savings, you can pick your payout from a bank account deposit, a PayPal account deposit, an Amazon gift card, or a donation to charity. More options to come!
Stores Include:
- Rite Aid
- CVS
- Redners
- Wegmans
- Superfesh
- Giant
- Acme
- Family Owned Markets
- Weis
- Superfresh
- Food Lion
- and Many More
Head over here to get started.

I’m confused and somewhat overwhelmed…I plan to shop at a Wegmans this week which is out of my zipcode. How do I add that to my list of stores when it doesn’t give me that option during sign up?
Shannon says
Jennie,
I am not 100% sure about that – you can email their customer service to see if they can be of assistance or maybe try just using a different zip code to add the store.
Becca says
my grocery store normally doubles coupons…will they still be doubled on the account?
Shannon says
These coupons will not double. they are separate from any store coupons
Kara says
Thanks for your response. I did email myself a list. Can you use a paper coupon with the same product you have an ecoupon for?? You can only use each coupon once over all the stores right?? Do the coupons reset at the beginning of each month? Thanks!! This is a great perk!!
Shannon says
Yes and yes they do reset at the beginning of the month.

I signed up a while ago and the first time I purchased something from the list, it worked perfectly. But ever since then, when I purchase things from my “activated” products, nothing happens. Fortunately, I only activate things that I know I’m going to buy anyway – I’m not buying products just because they’re on the list there.
It could be that I’m buying the wrong sizes of the items? It might be helpful if the listings on Saving Star were more specific to include the size of the item required or even a UPC? Not sure how that would work.
Shannon says
Jennifer, Josh from Saving Star is reading comments here, so I am sure he will be able to help you. I have a question, why wouldn’t you activate all the coupons in case of a sale or unadvertised deal? I am just trying to figure out what the harm would be ? It would be like me throwing away coupons that I dont think I would use from a circular. Just wondering.
Jennifer K. says
Oh, I do activate all the deals that I think I might buy (because sometimes they “sell out” if they’re popular). I guess wasn’t clear in the way I wrote that. What I mean is that I don’t buy things just because they’re a deal on Saving Star. I buy things that I’m going to buy anyway and the Saving Star is a bonus (or would be, if it worked for me).
SavingStar says
Hi Kara, At the top of the list of activated coupons, you can print or email yourself the list of coupons. When your savings post to your account, we send you an email. Thanks, Josh
Kara says
Thanks:) Just linked my cards. Now to remember the coupons that are on there. Do they send you an email or anything when you reach $5??
