13 Delicious Brunch Ideas for Mother’s Day
One of the best parts of Mother’s Day is being able to take Mom out for a nice brunch. This year, we decided to celebrate with food items that go beyond your typical “Sunday morning meal.” We found 13 Delicious Brunch Ideas for Mother’s Day that are creative, fun, and totally delicious. Show Mom how much you really care: and what better way to show your appreciation than with food (and with really good food, at that!)
Let’s start with the hearty meals:
We found an alternative to your classic eggs-and-potatoes and it may just be your next, healthy bite! We love Apollo & Luna’s take on a classic meal with their original recipe for Vegan Tofu Scramble & Paprika Potatoes. Of course, our mouths were watering when we stumbled upon this recipe for Sausage & Egg Stuffed, Twice Baked Breakfast Potatoes.
Does Mom have a sweet tooth? Well, look no further, because we found this Blueberry Breakfast Cake and also, a Double Chocolate and Cherry Breakfast Cookie (but using tasty, wholesome ingredients – good for the tastebuds and the hips!) If you’re into crepes, we’ve got two really great renditions: Nutella Crepes and a Crepes Suzette Recipe.
Of course, when we found this homemade take on Bisquick Mix, we thought it would be ideal to have handy in your recipe book so that you can cook for Mom all year-round!
Now, let’s go the less traditional route and enjoy some savory meals: how about a pasta salad filled with cheese and sausage (because why put those ingredients in your eggs when you can put in your pasta?!), some breakfast tacos, or even some breakfast empanadas? How’s your appetite now? Do we need to go grab the drool bib? Pop-Tarts are the ultimate all-American breakfast staple, so when we saw these homemade ones on the Tornadough Alli Blog (and a recipe to go with it, no less), we were absolutely ecstatic.
Does your Mom love bacon? Do you love bacon? Well, look no further because we’ve got a treat for you: Gingerbread Maple Bacon Donuts. Bon appetite. You’re welcome. If the temperatures are rising wherever you may be, then enjoy an outdoor picnic with mom and make these awesome frozen delights: Chocolate Frozen Yogurt Breakfast Treat.
