Groupon Grassroots will run a promotional deal from Wednesday, July 25, 2012 through Tuesday, July 31, 2012 to benefit childhood literacy.

Groupon Grassroots is teaming up with Jumpstart to celebrate its Read for the Recordinitiative, a day in October when people from all across the country will be encouraged to read the children's book, Ladybug Girl and the Bug Squad by David Soman and Jacky Davis.
During this promotional period, for each $10 purchase of Ladybug Girl and the Bug Squad through Groupon, one book will be sent to the purchaser and an additional copy will be donated to a Jumpstart child.
Jumpstart is a national early education organization with a mission to prepare children for success before entering the school system. The staff consists of trained community volunteers and college students who work with pre-school age children in low-income areas.
