Where do I get the nutella coupon? I am not seeing it on the Redplum site. Are they gone?? I hope not.

Can I use the dollar doubler with a $2/1 coupon or does it specifical have to be a $1/1 coupon.
Ruth Jenkins says
The policy is that you can only use 4 coupons per household per week but as with anything else, policies are interpreted differently by different store managers. At Martin’s in Rising Sun, MD, an unlimited amount of unique coupons will double automatically per transaction but most of the self checkout cashiers will stop you at 4 and you will need to give them any 1.00 coupons so they can enter it manually. I live on the border of MD, DE and PA and at Giant in PA, the system will accept 4 coupons per transaction so if you find a friendly cashier, you will need to do separate transactions, 4 coupons per transaction will double and they can be like coupons. As long as you scan the doubler, 4 will double. Some zealous cashier will stop at you 4 and not let you do different transactions. It all depends on the cashiers and the instructions, they received from the managers. So if they stop you from doing different transactions, don’t create a fuss, it is the policy.

Will Giant still be holding to the policy of only doubling the first of any identical coupons? That is what they normally do, which is a pain. I wanted to use the doublers with my $1 off Tropicana OJ deal. I am in PA also and that is what happens here.

With dollar doublers, I have never had them only double one like coupon, but it could be YMMV
Jamie says
That’s another thing they do in Hanover – only one of the same coupon gets doubled. :(
Rachel says
I thought the doublers were linked to your club card. You could only use 4 doublers/card/week. That’s been my experience in MD.
Shannon says
Rachel,
Thats not the case in PA . you cannot use more than 4 in a transaction tho.
Jamie says
I’ve had this problem in PA. I even had trouble using mine if my mother-in-law used hers first (we were part of the same household although we had separate card numbers). They could force it through, but they always treated me like I was cheating them out of $4. My doublers specifically say 4 per household and that has been true for me at the North Hanover Giant.
Jeannie says
I also live in MD and can use more than 4 dollar doublers, but in separate transactions. However, you can only double one like coupon per transaction, so all the scenarios that have you doubling like coupons don’t work here :(
Alana says
Where do you find the coupon doublers? I buy newspapers each week, but have never seen them.
Shannon says
They are in the Giant ad.
Ashley says
I actually have more than I thought. I have 12 papers and 4 doublers in each one. It’s a shame to let these go to waste!! B
Ashley says
I have 28 of the doublers. How can I use them all? Separate transactions or different days???
Shannon says
That will a total YMMV thing at the store. Sorry, I dont have a good answer!
Tabatha says
My ad states right in the ad we are only allowed to use 4 doublers per transaction so I would definitely check with the store. My assumption would be you could split up your transactions and use your doublers that way but I would definitely call!
