My CVS wouldn’t let me use both coupons for the Herbal Essences/Aussie, saying that would only work if the BOGO were a store sale. I said I thought I could use two coupons, since I had two items, but he said since the second one was free, I couldn’t use a coupon on it. I still think I should have been able to, since I was using the $1 coupon on the first item. Not complaining TOO much though, since two product for a buck is still a great deal! :) Should I have held my ground? He claims the company sees a BOGO as one product, therefore the second coupon wouldn’t work.
Erin says
@themommyliza, Was the Herbal Essence tagged as 2/$5.97 in your store? I didn’t see it in the ad and it was tagged 3.99 in my store.
themommyliza says
@Erin, yes, it was tagged 2/$5.97. I forgot to check if it was in my circular, but I do see it in the online version.
Oanh says
@themommyliza, I had no problem using both coupons. The manager looked at them both and scanned them for me.
themommyliza says
@Oanh, oh, well. :)

@Claire, after my experience with the Herbal Essences/Aussie today, I wonder if this deal would work, either. If it did work, would you then be paying $.99 for the Sinex?
Maria says
@themommyliza, Yes, I did this same deal yesterday and pay with my ECB – so no oop for me.
