Mark your calendars for a fun free event at
Sept. 17.
Read and Romp Birmingham is free and open to the public and families who want to foster a love of reading in their children ages 3 to 5 years old.
Brook with United Way of Central Alabama, a sponsor of the event, sent over this information:
It will be at Railroad Park from 9 till 12. It will consist of 11 activity stations related to a book. After parents & children have their “passport” (that we supply them with) stamped at the activity stations they can check out and receive a free brand new bag of books to take home.
The first 400 families will receive the freebie after they complete the entire loop of activities.
There will be 11 story stations, games and more.
