yesterday for lunch and was delighted to see reasonable prices on the menu. Actually I was excited because it's not often you get a fast casual service restaurant with $2 veggies or $4 sandwiches.
The appetizers were reasonably priced too. Like a plate of 10 fried green tomatoes with white BBQ dipping sauce for $4.
I chose a $4 baked potato including sour cream, butter, cheese and bacon -- I opted for it to be plain and asked for side cup of their white BBQ sauce.
The white BBQ is phenomenal and better than Big Bob Gibson's white BBQ sauce.
Monday through Friday you can get a combo plate for $7 that includes a BBQ sandwich of pork, chicken or beef, 1 side item and a drink.
My husband had the brisket sandwich and steak fries and complimented the meat but did say it prefers it a little more tender. The regular BBQ sauce is a little tangy by itself but it does taste good with the meat.
The staff was great and the atmosphere was cool. I love metal and wood decor.
The location is in the old Gutheries building near Belle Foods, across from Jim & Nick's BBQ on US 31.
