Over the past few months, I have mentioned Young Living Essential Oils. Some of you asked about how or where you can buy Young Living Essential Oils. I thought I would share a bit about the oils and how you can order them, but more importantly how you can SAVE when you purchase Young Living Essential Oils.
So first, what are Young Living Essential Oils? Simply put, they are a great option when it comes to essential oils. They offer a huge line of oils and include some of my favorites, like Raven, RC and Thieves. I have tried some of the “cheaper” options for these blends and they just don’t hold up to them. If you decide you love these blends, you may want to look at a way to save 24%.
Once I started buying Essential Oils, I figured there had to be better way then buying them at retail price. Of course, you can simply buy them at retail, but that isn’t what we do around here.
So here is the scoop – you join Young Living as a distributor. Yeah, I know that sounds all scary and what not. It really isn’t. Think of it like Sam’s Club or Costco. You pay a membership to get discounts. With Young Living , you have to spend 50 PV (around $50) per year to keep your wholesale discount. (the only difference with this.. you aren’t spending $50 on a membership fee, you are spending it on ACTUAL PRODUCTS of your choice) So, you can sign up and if you don’t want to buy again, no big deal. If you become a regular orderer, you can earn FREE oils.
The only caveat is when you initially sign up you must buy a starter kit. So, how can you make this work for you?
Check out the premium starter kit, it is worth $325, but you can save over 50% – it will get you all the oils you need to get started PLUS a great diffuser and cover your starter kit purchase – for $150.00. The premium kit includes Everyday Oils Essential Oil Collection, plus a diffuser and more.
- 1 – 5 ml Joy
- 1 – 5 ml Frankincense
- 1 – 5 ml Lemon
- 1 – 5 ml Lavender
- 1 – 5 ml Peppermint
- 1 – 5 ml Purification
- 1 – 5 ml Panaway
- 1 – 5 ml Peace & Calming®
- 1 – 5 ml Thieves®
- 1 – 5 ml Valor®
If you buy everything included, you will pay over $325.00 retail, but $150.00 wholesale. Ok, so if this isn’t in your budget and you really want to check it out, you can choose other starter kits for much less, but they do not include oils or diffusers. You can pay your one time $40 fee for your kit.
Step by step instructions on how to join Young Living Essential Oils and save 24% on your purchase.
1. Click here to begin the enrollment process.
2. Independent Distributor will already be selected. Again, this is the wholesale membership. You are NOT AGREEING TO SELL or distribute anything. If you select “Retail Customer” you will not receive wholesale pricing. (note you will see my enroller id in the form – that makes me available to you to any questions you might have, etc)
3. Choose the Premium Kit or the kit you want. Then proceed to check out. Say no to essential rewards for now, you can always sign up later.
If you have any questions, please leave them in the comments! There are more opportunities with to save/earn with Young Living if you would like to learn more.

Hi! I ordered a premium kit under your membership and I was wondering If there is a link or something that I can simply use to get family and friends to sign up under my membership or do I have to make my own web page? Thanks for your help!

Used your info to sign up. ;-)

I Want to buy a kit as a xmas present, houwever I leave ON Sunday to my hometown (Brazil). The only way to buy it would be online or do they sell it at a store as well ? Thanks!

Hi! Thanks for tips! I was looking into signing up, however, in your list of what comes in the started kit it says all of those oils in 5 ml bottles, but on the website it says only 1 bottle and the rest are sample packets. That doesn’t really seem worth it, since I already have a diffuser. Am I missing something? Have they changed it since you first posted this? Thank you!
D says
It says it comes with the every day oils collection. Those are the bottles listed (though they have recently swapped out two).
Debbie says
Nicole, things could have changed. This post is over a year old.

I’ve been using yl in my practice. For the past 15 years
They are the best. I have compared to many many brands – some of. Which I use for minor things but when it comes to things like breaking up pneumonia in someone who is not responding to antibiotics yl is my reliable go to.

Please excuse my ignorance, but how can we use these oils? What are the benefits? Thanks.
Elizabeth says
You can apply them to your skin. Some you can ingest. Others you can spray or diffuse into the air. I am a longtime user of these oils. So for example, when I feel a headache or feel a little stressed out I rub a little lavender on my neck and breath in from my hands. If I have an upset stomach or feel a little indigestion coming on I use Di-Gize on my belly. If I feel a little sore throat coming on a will put a drop of Thieves on my tongue or sip it a glass of water. There is also a spray of Thieves for killing the cooties. It is considered anti-viral and anti-bacterial. I love Thieves best of all. Of course this isn’t medical advise! These are just the things that work for me. There are books that suggest what oils are good for what ailments or emotional issues and best place on the body to apply them.

I LOVE Young Living Essential Oils! I have used many other brands and none hold a candle to the effectiveness of Young Living. It’s pretty impressive that YL is the only essential oil company who owns their own farms! And the Seed to Seal guarantee is pretty amazing too. I’m so happy that I chose YLEOs for my family!!

Compared with many other companies young living oils are frequently lower quality. They do not seem like good value for money, maybe just a good money maker for distributors.

YL oils have amazed me time after time in the last year and a half. I’d love to know what works better, because I really can’t even imagine!
Jennifer says
I’ve had the opposite experience. I tried some other (cheaper) oils that claimed to be pure and therapeutic. They weren’t even close to the quality of Young Living. If I smell them side-by-side with the Young Living ones, I can smell the chemical-ness of the other ones. Young Living has been great for our family.

I have personally witnessed the difference between “aromatherapy-grade oils” (generally found in nutrition stores, etc), and Young Living’s “Therapeutic-grade Essential Oils”. There IS a different Standard, from the get-go. It is called their patented “Seed to Seal Process”! :) Check it out :) It’s ah-may-zing! They really go out of their way to find the ultimate in each of their products, and do not “substitute” – if something is out of stock, they will find a place to source the BEST of the BEST, and build a new farm! It’s so incredible, and I really encourage you to research this company versus some of the others out there before making a harsh decision.
Just curious, what have you based your reasoning off of? Personal Experience? Difference in the costs? I am just curious to know ;) To each their own, in the end! :) oxoJL
