Buy in Bulk – Buying in bulk can be tricky, but if you have a solid plan in place for how to use the food, it can save you quite a bit of money! By buying in bulk, we were able to get a lower price per pound than we would have paid for conventional potatoes! This ties in with my menu-planning goal as well!

I mentioned in my menu plan last week that I was planning to do some freezer cooking as well as a meal swap with friends. Mashed Potatoes – 14 (this was something extra I did to use up some potatoes that I purchased in bulk). I am so pleased with how well it went! Peppered Steak – 2. Burrito Beans – 2.
