can someone email me on this deal. I went into rite aid and the lady said it will not print on the 2.44 candy. It has to be the 4.99 larger bags of candy. She said if I use my ups on this deal and I dont get the 10.00 ups I loose them and they will not refund them to me.
Angela W says
Ah nevermind I just zoomed in on my phone and realized those W’s I kept seeing are VV’s not W’s for video values? Opps.
Angela W says
I have to know are the W coupons people are talking about in the comments Walgreens coupons??? If so can you really use Walgreens coupons at Riteaid?
tonya says
don’t forget the VV 1/2 Hersey miniatures to stack with the 1/3 hersey coupon…. just have to get the easter miniatures for the deal. I did it today
Caroline says
I did the 2nd scenario listed above. There is also a $1/2 Hershey’s miniatures VV coupon that I used to stack. I was really disappointed that they were completely OUT of Cadbury mini eggs which are my husband’s favorite. I also used the $1 wellness VV and had $5 UPR from the Revlon deal that I did. Total OOP just over $10 with $13 UPR back!
Caroline says
I found a great deal on Dove chocolate that I’m going to try today!
2 bags Dove eggs $4.88
-2 $1/1 dove chocolates (RP 3/6)
– $1/2 April VV
Total OOP: $1.88
Get back $1 UPR
$.44 each for Dove chocolates!!
Then I’m going to do the 2nd scenario from above to get the candy for my kids!
Side note, does anyone have a good scenario for Revlon? $5 UPR wyb 1 lip and 1 nail. There are $1 coupons from a few weeks ago.
Caroline says
@Caroline, Nevermind. Dove chocolate isn’t included in that deal. But hang on to the coupons and there might be a good deal in the next few weeks!
Steve says
I bought 8 bags of the m&ms and 2 cadbury eggs
used (4) $2/2 from the all/you and 50cents/2 eggs coupons
paid $12.78 and got $14 in ups
I also needed $4 more for my allergy up
So I bought 1 breath right at 4.99 and used the $1/1 VV
So paid $3.99 for it and got a $5 up for the allergy and $1 up for the breath right
So made $3 and change today on top of the $3 and change the other day.
Good week at Rite Aid for me
Darreena Harding says
So im confused. Can I buy m&ms to and use the $2/2 coupon? I want to get the best deal I have 5 baskets to do:) Thanks!
Shannon says
@Darreena Harding,
No Dareena.
Erin says
@Darreena Harding, Just an FYI, as I posted this above – The M&Ms do count for the $10UP. I purchased 8 bags of M&Ms and 2 Reeses Eggs and got 4-$1Ups and 1-$10UP. I used 4-$2/2 Coupons on the M&Ms (they are pictured on the coupon), the $.50/2 Reese Egg VV coupon, and a $3/$15 Survey Coupon to make this a $4.22 Moneymaker.
Natalie says
I have coupons from a tear pad in hannaford that are $2 off 3 bags of Hershey’s or Reese’s. It says manufacturer’s coupon and has a remit address on it. However, it also says coupon good at hannaford/sweet bay stores only. Will rite aid accept it? Thanks for your help.
Amanda says
The Video Values coupons for $0.50/2 Cadbury and $0.50/2 Reeses Eggs do not list any size restrictions, so I was able to use them just fine on the larger quantities of candy.
Amanda says
The Video Values coupons for $0.50/2 Cadbury and $.50/2 Reeses Eggs do not specify any size restrictions, so I used them with no problem on the larger quantities of items.
This is the deal that I did:
(6) bags Hershey/Reeses candy @ $2.44/each = $14.64
(1) 4ct Cadbury Creme Eggs = $2.50
(1) 12ct Cadbury Mini Eggs = $2.88
Total: $20.02
Use these coupons:
$3/$15 Purchase
$1/$1 Video Values
$.50/2 Cadbury VV
$.50/2 Reeses VV
(2) $1/3 Hershey/Reeses/etc.
Pay: $13.02
Get Back: $10 UP Reward, and (3) $1 UP Rewards.
Thus, all that candy for $0.02 after UP Rewards!

Has anyone done the candy deal twice? I did the first scenario-worked just fine-the ad stated limit 1 for the 10 up,but on the bottom of my receipt,it has a tally as though it can be done again..please advise if anyone has does this twice and received a second 10 up.Thanks!!
Shannon says
It is limit 1 I believe.
Erin says
@Shannon, I accidentally used the same card and the $10UP didn’t print a second time. We returned the items and purchased them on a different card and it printed fine. So the limit 1 is true.
Erin
Aubrey says
I did mine a little different. The king size Reese’s Eggs are in the 88 cent deal and I bought 24 of them, used 12 $1/2 2 oz or more (they are 2.4 oz) and used my 50 cents off 2 VV from the last 2 months. $21.12-$12 mq-$1 vvq= paid $8.12 and got back $10!!!!!
krissi says
@Aubrey, What $1/2 coupon are you refering to? Where can I find it?
Amanda says
Is the bagged candy included?? I dont see it in that section in the ad… Just wanna make sure I am getting the right things.. Thanks!
Shannon says
@Amanda,
The scenario I did is included. Please check your ad to make sure you have the deal — I am not sure why you wouldn’t but double check.
amanda says
Note that the $10 +UP is actually printing for M&Ms too… guessing this is a mistake in their system though. I bought a combo of Reeses and M&Ms that totaled just over $20 and still got the $10 +UP. Made for a super deal with the previously available $2/2 Mars q’s!
Robin says
@Shannon,
Just curious… when did M&M become a part of Hershey?
Shannon says
@Robin,
Let me start over Robin – M&MS are included in the Hershey/Reese deal on page one of the ad. I bought a bag of M&Ms but I dont think it counted towards the $20, but it doesnt count toward the $1.00 UPR. Does that make sense?
Caroline says
@Shannon, If you bought a bag of M&Ms, how did you use the 3 coupons for 9 bags of candy? Shouldn’t you have only had 8 bags that applied to the coupons? I only have one of the $1/3 coupons and would like to get M&Ms but not if they don’t work towards the $10 UPR. Does anyone know if it’s still working? Sounds like it’s hit or miss.
Shannon says
Caroline,
I bought a total of 11 bags of candy. {my son has to have M&Ms for his easter basket.}.
Erin says
@Shannon, The M&Ms do count for the $10UP.
Shannon says
@Erin,
Thanks Erin!
Angela W says
@Erin, Is the W coupon that ur talking about a Walgreens coupon?
Erin says
@Angela W, No it is a Rite Aid VV (Video Values) coupon for April.
Erin
Shannon says
@amanda,
Amanda,
M&Ms are part of the deal too.
Kara says
Just be careful in the second deal b/c the centerpiece items are $1.99 (not one sale) so if you have the 10% or more it lowers the price. I have the 10% and they went down to $1.79 a piece which makes you 2 cents short!!!
Debbie says
I have a “short” ad. It shows the 1.00 UPR when you buy 2 bags for 4.88. It does NOT say anything about the $10 UPR — is it regional?
Shannon says
@Debbie,
its further back in the ad.
Jennifer says
I did the second Deal had $3.00/$15.00 and $5 upr so got all of it for $ 9.38 and $13.00 upr back WOOT WOOT
Mallory Lundell says
I think there is a video value coupon for the cadbury creme eggs too
Debby says
Wow!!! This is great! Thanks :)
Kelli says
used $3.00/$15.00 Survey Coupon
Where do I or can I get this???
Jennifer says
@Kelli, Look at the bottom of your receipts! Get one almost every time I go!
dealover says
Isn’t there some april VV for the candy?
sherry says
Ahhh…nevermind. Having one of those moments! Maybe I should have checked the FRONT page!!
sherry says
Is the Hershey/Reese’s at $2.44 advertised in the sales ad? I only see the buy $20 get $10 in my ad. Is it a regional deal?
Carilyn says
I just did the last deal that you have listed. I was so excited! All of my Easter candy for under $1.50!! Thanks for all of the match-ups you do!
