Game Day Party Planning and Cleaning Checklists
The 56th Big Game is just around the corner. Do you spend more time running around the house than the players on the field while hosting a viewing party?
If yes, then this year spend more cheering for your team, here is a quick checklist for before and after party cleaning for this year:
- Clean your TV Screen by wiping smudges off with a dry microfiber cloth.
- Organize your refrigerator to make space for all the snacks, beer, wine and mixers.
- Wash and dry special serving dishes and cookers. Wipe down kitchen counters, the table you will lay out the game-time spread and stovetops. Stock up on sanitizer bottles and disinfectant wipes.
- Deodorize and clean your kitchen trash can and do keep an extra trash can with extra bin liners in the room you will watching the game.
- Dust and vaccum all the common areas. Make sure there is ample seating for the guest, change the slipcovers on the couch.
- Keep an emergency cleaning kit that has microfiber cloths, small handheld broom and dustbin, paper towels, stain removers.
- Make sure bathroom sink and toilets are sparkling clean, keep out clean towels, washcloths, bathroom tissues, couple of bar soaps and do make sure the soap dispenser is full. Leave out a container of mints on the bathroom counter. You can also leave a lotion and a scented candle.
- Clear space in the closet for guests coats, purses and scarves.
- Take out your special table cloth, and football-themed paper napkins, plates, balloons and plastic cultery ( to reduce your post-game cleaning).
