I usually donate on Friday and Sunday mornings and I missed a few days due to schedule conflicts. Yep, I found a $20 bill on a morning run at the beach!

I was able to pick up a half dozen more items for my Operation Christmas Child stockpile. Last week I picked up some men's deodorant for the 10 to 14 year old boy boxes, and this week I was able to get two for the girls of the same age.

For those unfamiliar with OCC, it is an arm of Samaritan’s Purse (run by Franklin Graham) that has for over a decade allowed individuals in America and other developed countries to fill shoeboxes with.

Just a small addition, but by acquiring all the hygiene items and gum I need free after coupons and/or extra bucks I have more of my OCC budget to buy the other items to fill them. I had two of the $1 off coupons that made the toothbrushes free after extra bucks, the toothpaste was buy one get one free and I had two $1.50/1 1 coupons so they were $.69 69 for the two, the Frost Mints were B1G1 with a manufacturer.
