Jim is a newbie couponer, he has been couponing for about a month now. He has the most success at CVS and wanted to give us ladies some inspiration.
Jim started with $10.00 ecb, a $4/$$20 purchase and a $2.00 coupon. Also, the Red Coupon Machine gave him a $1.50 ecb for quarterly savings and a $3.00 off of Cover Girl Mascara. Jim did the Tide Deal posted here and some of the other weekly deals.
Not to bad Jim!
Product Total $161.07
Total Spent $49.19
Way too go Jim! I think Jim is well on his way to becoming an expert couponer. When I see huge savings like this, I often wonder how we ever lived without our coupons. Welcome to the club Jim

She was also found Clorox Products on clearance and used Clorox Coupons to pick them up for free.

My Target also had the Monopoly on sale for $3.74 & but by the time I came across it I had already used my game coupons on a previous shopping trip. I still picked up a couple to donate – it was still a good price, but good for you Kimberly on scoring them for free! :-)

She is saying she think the only the Tide powder boxes are part of the deal. From what I see she might be right…
Shannon says
Thats only if you are using the $2.00 coupons for them – check the ad scan here – I think you might be confusing the $2.00 coupon that is for the powder.

I have been hesitant to try this deal because I thought the $2 Tide coupons were only good for the Tide powder and not the liquid
Shannon says
They are for the powder only.. but he chose to do the Liquid with the lesser coupons. — remember he spent $50 OOP + had a $10 ECB to start.
dawn says
I thought you were only allowed to get the powder for the Tide deal?
Shannon says
I am not sure what you are asking – he bought 6 tide at $36 and got $10 back?
