Much of the time, baby clothes aren’t used harshly — especially newborn and early infant clothing. We looked at some used cars, but with dealer incentives for new, and the time of year we bought (toward the end of the month in November), it ended up being cheaper to get the new car. Baby Items.

The van has been awesome, especially when our kids were younger, but it needed 4 new tires and I didn’t want to replace them if we were going to get another car.

No new clothes, no vacation, no extra anything. We are constantly being sold that we “deserve” a new car, or new iPhone, or vacation, or new furniture. Thank goodness its illegal to sell cute little children, because I would have gotten a pretty penny for my son. We stopped buying stuff.
