The FREE Girls Engineering Conference on March 2 is for girls in the 6th-9th grades who would enjoy participating in hands-on activities alongside women engineers, please sign her up today. Registration is limited to 100 girls.

Description of the event:
The Girls Engineering Conference is a 100% FREE event for girls in 6th – 9th grades who are interested in science and engineering.
• Participants will spend the day with female engineers from Alabama Power Company, engaged in exciting, hands-on workshops to learn about and apply concepts from various fields of the engineering discipline. The event will also include a fun and challenging engineering competition!
• Sessions available for parents will include valuable information and resources pertaining to educational and personal development for their daughters. Each child must be accompanied by exactly one (1) parent or guardian for the duration of the event.
