Easy and Delicious Slow Cooked Flank Steak
This easy and delicious slow-cooked flank steak recipe makes the most flavorful, tender flank steak dinner!
I love recipes that are easy, and quick, and use ingredients that are always in my budget. Flank steak is lean, boneless, flavorful and a relatively inexpensive cut of meat for the quality and at its best when marinated well.
The green chilies make this recipe spicy if you like less heat use half the amount of green chilies. You can even use jalapeños to give it a nice zesty flavor. The best part about this recipe is you can pop it into the slow cooker in the afternoon and forget about it until dinner time!

I don’t know where you live but flank steak is NOT a relatively inexpensive cut of meat.
Shannon says
It is a relatively inexpensive cut of steak. Now, relatively inexpensive means relative to the price of other steaks – i.e Flank Steak is $6.99-$7.99 lb on an average, and NY Strip steak is $9.99 – $13.99 on average, so relative it is. Now if you want really cheap, than you may look at a roast.

I pay 5.99/lb at Costco. I used to cringe slightly too but then I really thought about it. There is no fat or bone so you are not paying for any waste. It really tastes awesome. This looks yummy. I will have to try it. Thanks!

Dona Babbitt – the green chiles are more mild. I used jalapenos to kick it up a bit – but the green chilies are fantastic too.

Shannon, the recipe says “green chiles” but you said you used jalapeno’s. Did you replace the chiles with the jalapeno’s? How many did you use? I love the taste of jalapeno’s, but not sure about the green chiles?
