Can someone please help me. I signed up for Savings Star last Nov. 2011. I couldn’t retrieve my password until today. Requests for password resets were ignored & I finally figured it out myself. Now it is telling me that I have yet to confirm my account (I guess) via email. I clicked ‘To resend email’. However, I keep getting this email that tells me to click on the link below or copy/paste the url into my browser. There is NO link or url. The email only show an icon for Facebook, Twitter, and Mobile phones. It says I cannot use ecoupons until I confirm via email. There is no phone number to call, just canned emails w/o a link/url. Did anyone else have this problem? Thank you in advance. I really appreciate it.

I clip them all, but usually don’t figure them in, so it’s a nice bonus when they get used.

@Melissa you clip the coupons you want, print out the list of products you clipped the coupons for, use them, and they money saved will be Saving Star website for you to cash out in lump sums. You do need a grocery card connected to their website. If you aren’t sure what stores have grocery cards, just go to Savings Star site and they’ll show what stores in your area do. Then sign up for that card and add that card # to the SS website. Hope this helps. And no, I haven’t used it yet. But plan to since I actually figure out how it works lol

I don’t even understand how they work! LOL!

I second Nichole’s comment above. I clip em and forget em..LOL

I just clip them all–but tend to forget about them until I’m notified by SS. It’s a nice bonus, but I don’t usually factor them in when making my list.

I do for items that I can’t find the coupon for anywhere else and the item is on sale or if I can stack with other manufacturer’s coupons. Kroger is the only place that takes them here and I find their prices are typically higher, so it is rare that I use them.

They do come off on top of manufacturers coupons – right? I’m thinking the Krave one combined with the coupon that was out a while ago – doubled…might make for a good buy!

I use them and am happy with it so far.

I clip them but have only redeemed one. It seems like I buy the items at stores that don’t have a savings card program. I figure I’ll add them to my cards and if I happen to use them -it’ll be a bonus but I don’t actively look to use them. (That was…until now, I just clipped the chock full o nuts coffee – which is the brand we drink and coupons are rare so I’ll seek that one out at an appropriate store…but I don’t see myself doing that often).

There was also a chock full o nuts coupon in the inserts this past Sunday. At giant it is on sale, so you can get it for $1.50 with the clipped coupon – and then of course save another .75cents through savings star! =)

Just started using them. I too like how they are usually for things I do buy and usually save extra when combined with a paper coupon! Almost have my first $5 already.

Me! I just started this year, but I’m very happy with the coupons being for things I use regularly!
