Can I just go to dollar General and get the libbys with the coupon? Do I have to go match it at Walmart? Walmart is not the place I want to be at this time of year.
Thanks
Tiffany says
You can use the coupon at Dollar General, but sometimes if you don’t go on the first day they don’t have the item because they usually do not have large amounts of stock. (This is true in my area.) Most of the time Walmart has huge amounts of stock and restocks every evening, so price matching is easier and you pretty much are guaranteed to be able to get the product. I do this sometimes if I have several items I wanted to be able to get with no hassel through price matching. I agree walmart is a mad house this time of year, I ran in there for pecans late last night because they were the cheapest place in my area and it looked like a bomb had exploded in the store. I would recommend going reaaaaalllly early or really late if you absolutely had to go for just a couple items or price matching.

Walmart won’t price match BOGO.
melissa says
Mine will as long as there’s a price stated in the ad. If it just says BOGO with no price, then they won’t.
melissa says
Does Dollar General take coupons? My Walmart cashiers give me a hard time about price matching sometimes.
autumn says
DD coffee is price cut for $6.99 – $1= $5.99
Can’t price match since it’s not in their ad.

When I price match I need the sales ad????
Rachel says
Yes, definitely bring the whole ad with you. I have only price matched a couple of times but they want to see the item in the ad along with the date.Hope that helps! :-)
Amanda Gilbert via Facebook says
They are BOGO at $7 each. so $7 minus 2- $2 coupons =$3.00 for 2.. Or if they ring up 1/2 price it would be $3.50 each minus the $2. equals $1.50.. Hope that helps
