My Giant was sold out in less than 40 minutes! If I ask for a raincheck, will I get bonus points too?
Amy says
Yeap, make sure you tell them about the bonus gas points though so that they can mark it on the raincheck. Once the item comes in, Then you will need to go to the service desk to pay and have them manually add your gas points…. I’ve done this many many times

My store was also sold out by the time I arrived after church on Sunday. The College Avenue, State College, Giant will not honor the gas points with a raincheck.

Thanks so much for the answer !

Ask to special order and prepay for your items… that’s what my Giant (in Leola) always does. My gas points automatically show up and I pick up my items when they come in.

Wow, that’s a great tip, I never though of that. I will have to do it this week for a couple of my friends. I was able to get the dog treats and free gas but the deal is just too good to pass up.

I’ve tried that with both State College stores and they won’t preorder or allow me to prepay. The standard line is, “We can’t do that anymore, Corporate yelled at us.” “Yelled at us”, seriously?
