This reply is a little late, but I know you can freeze potatoes. You can cut them up (in strips or however you like them), freeze them on a baking sheet, then put them in a ziplock after they are frozen. If you put them straight into the bag you will have problems with them sticking together. :) Good luck with the next sale. I actually don’t do this, but my friend does and saves a bundle doing it! :)

Not sure if this is regional or what, but today and tomorrow they have Apple Jacks, Corn Pops, and Froot Loops on sale for $1 each (avg. 8-9 oz. size)and Pop Tarts (8 pack) for $1 (both cereal and Pop tarts limit 4). I picked up 4 of each, 2 packages Keebler cookies ($1 each, limit 4), 2 packages of the leg quarters (they come in 10 lb. bags for $1.90 each, limit 2), 4 cans ravioli, bread, saltines, eggs, and 5 lb potatoes. I had one more of the $10 off a $20 purchase coupon plus a $2 off $20 that the catalina machine was giving out last week. No manufacturer coupons (oh well), but I only paid $10.15 OOP and I got another $3 off $35 purchase. : )

Chicken legs .19 cents a lb… you can’t beat it… I don’t eat these, but my fiance will love them baked, and my dogs will enjoy them too. Picked up (2) 10 lb bags this morning – get over there fast, it is while supplies last and half hour into opening they were almost gone (at least what was out on the floor)
Does anyone know if potatoes freeze well? They have them for .88 cents for a 5 lb bag and I’m considering buying some more and freezing. If they do freeze well, do you leave whole or cut up?

I have not visited this store yet but plan on it this weekend :-) Thanks for the post
