It looks like Rite Aid changed their mind again with the Toilet Paper and Tissue deal. Karen had some issues with her UPR so she emailed Rite Aid – this is the response she got:
Thank you for your email to Rite Aid Wellness+ Customer Service. We had just a limit of one per household for this offer, Corporate Headquarters changed that to a limit of three per household for the $1 offer. We can reissue the additional $1+up that you did not receive. Unfortunately we are unable to send you any +Up coupons due to the lack of information. I will need the following information your Wellness+ Card number, Store number, Register number, Transaction number, Sales date, Time of purchase, Products and price for each, and Sub-Total for this transaction. I do apologize about any inconvenience that you have experienced. If you have any additional questions regarding your account please feel free to contact us through an email or by calling 1-800-RITEAID. Thank you once again for your business and have a wonderful day.
So if you only got 1 +UPR you may want to try and call them. They may issue another 2!

Why doesn’t my comment show up?

I bought more than 3 on Sunday and Monday and got the UPRs. Tuesday not a one UPR would come up. I figured now that when there is a limit you could possibly go to more than one Rite Aid on the same day and get the limited amount again. I figured Rite Aid is not making their calculations until overnight. Look at your receipts for the same day and they will have the same number of points at the bottom of the receipt for the same day. Or you may even be able to do more than one transaction at the same store at the same time. I’m going to try it the next time I want more than the limit.

People should not be so bitter about limits. Someone was up early enough and wanted that TP enough that they went and cleared the shelf, I say good for them. I guess they needed it more, but to come on here and complain about limits is not worth it for tp and tissues. I went and found 1 tp and also I bought 1 tissue just to see if the Up’s would work and guess what I only got 1 UP but its okay because maybe next time I will be the one to get a great deal or be faced with possibly taking an extra item or two. I have seen so many negative posts about limits and its disheartening. If anything we should be upset with Rite Aid for changing their policies every couple of days, that is just annoying.

If there is a deal to be had and someone gets in on it then good for them! I think I got around 30 rolls of toilet paper at three stores where I saw people buying cartfulls. Did it bother me that they got more than I would of liked? No they beat me to it. Whether I choose to keep, donate, or build a castle with the toilet paper it is my business. It’s not ruining it for others when we buy it all the stock it is creating sales for Rite Aid. Obviously someone in Rite Aid has no idea of the couponer world and what free toilet paper does for us. Let’s quit whining, rejoice in the free toilet paper we were able to get and chase the next deal!

I bought five on Sunday and then went back and bought three. My Up+ Rewards printed for all of them.

I went Monday and got 10 facial tissues. I wasn’t impressed with the tp, so I left it there. However, I’ve got a son with a cold right now and I’m sure we will have several more over the next couple of months and the tissue will come in handy. I got $1 UPR and the additional $3 UPR. I was expecting the other $9 UPRs and since they didn’t print the manager wrote a slip to do a $9 cost reduction on a future trip. I’m glad I went Monday before they set the limits. Also, the cashier told me that a lady had been in that morning and bought 50 packs of tp. She said they spent an hour trying to figure out her UPRs because they didn’t print and she (the cust.) was completely rude about the whole thing. Honestly, the people at this Rite Aid have always been extremely nice to me and I can’t imagine embarassing myself over that sad tp. Anyway, that’s just my opinion.

I went to 3 stores on Sunday and 2 of the 3 had none. I went back to those stores Tues. night and 2 of the 3 had limit signs but 1 store didn’t and I got all the UPR’s. I finally found 10 tissues at a store with limits and I bought 10. Got $1 UPR +$3 UPR for buying 10.

I went this morning and my store had a sign up that said a limit of 1. I decided to try 3 and see and it did print 3 $1 UPs. I didn’t buy any before. I bought 1 tissue and 2 4 packs of TP. I should have bought 4 just to check it out. Oh well!! I am happy with a free box of tissues and 8 rolls of TP. Plus got tons of free TGIF snack 97 get $1 UP back. Trying to get to my $100 resolution amount. Checked out and am a little over $5 away. I guess I will have to go back a buy a little more:)

I guess the only thing I learned from this is that getting there first thing Sunday is the only way to get the advertised deal before corporate changes their mind midweek (as evidenced by their actions the past two weeks). I can’t imagine what brilliant person planned out these sales. Clearly everyone will want free items that are advertised with no limits. My store manager told me she could order more for me but they wouldn’t come until mid week so I said thanks but no thanks. I bought plenty of tp but also went to four stores to do so. The one store only had about five out an hour after opening. Limits clearly need to be instituted but no one wants to see limits of one item. I’m not going out to rite aid to get one pack of that tiny lousy quality tp; better be a better deal than that. They really need to get a clue as to what is reasonable for all.

THanks for the update. I went in after dropping the kiddos off at the school bus, and bought 2 more singles of TP. That was all that was left. I was talking with the manager, and he said that this week has been really rough for them with corporate changing things. He said that the reason they changed the limit from none to 1 originally was because people were posting on the internet that they were buying cases of TP and tissue!! Seriously! It really is a shame that the greed of a few ruin it for the rest of us. They need to reinforce reasonable limits for all stores. Seriously people, do you really need cases of toilet paper and tissue??! It’s one thing to stock up for your family and to donate but you know full well that these people are probably reselling. I love my local Rite Aid and love your site!! THanks for being so timely!!

I agree they need to put limits. Some people will take all . My RA lets me shop the Sunday’s sales on Sat night. Not sure if all will do that.
Nancy says
If i bought 5tp on Sunday before the limit thing, can i buy 3 more and get UP
rewards? Does anyone know?
Dawn says
I bought 3 on Sunday. Can I go back and buy 3 more or will I not get my 3upr? Not that I am going to do that, just curious if that is possble.
Shannon says
No you cannot buy more.

I went Sunday & was unable to get any TP. When I asked when they’d be getting another delivery the cashier said that one guy came in and cleared the shelf – took it ALL. She was not impressed & was actually saying that limits should be set – I guess she wasn’t the only one that felt that way-
Lindsay says
Is this 3 UPR per product (as in 3 tissue AND 3 TP) or is it 3 total UPR for all of those products?
Shannon says
@Lindsay,
Lindsay I am reading it as 3 total.
M says
So I went on Monday, only got $1 up and then the store handled giving me cash back/gift card. So if I go again, I can get 2 more…am I correct?
Michelle says
Yep, I went yesterday and bought 3 and got 3 UPR back!
