Mason Jar Lid Pumpkin Craft
Thanksgiving is next week and if you are hosting this year, you may be thinking about your table setting and decor. Well, I have a cute and easy craft that will make an adorable Thanksgiving table centerpiece. Try our Mason Jar Lid Pumpkin Craft. These could not be simpler to do and you can dress them up or paint them in so many different ways.
This cute craft only requires 5 easy to find supplies. You may even have some in your home already.
Gather your lids together and tie with craft wire.
Pull the lids apart and shuffle them to make a pumpkin shape.
Spray paint the lids. I used white here but I think these would look great with a gold color. Be creative and choose a color that fits you. Adorn the pumpkin with a twig from the backyard and use pipe cleaners and leaves from the craft store to decorate.

Mason Jar Lid Pumpkin
Supplies needed:
- 17-20 mason jar lids, metal
- White spray paint (or choice color)
- Twig or stick
- Green ribbon, pipe cleaner, or twine
- Craft Wire
Directions:
1. Begin by stringing the lids through your piece of wire. You will need anywhere from 17-20 lids for a full pumpkin. When stringing them on, take care to make sure they are all facing the same way so the pumpkin looks uniform.
2. Once the lids are in place, tie the ends of your wire together nice and tight.
3. Pull the lids gently apart and shuffle them to create the pumpkin look.
4. Place the lids on a piece of newspaper and apply two coats of white spray paint. Turn the pumpkin over (when dry) and apply an additional two coats. Make sure the entire pumpkin is covered well.
5. Take a stick and press it down into the center of the pumpkin. There should be a hole there so no adhesive is needed. If you feel you need adhesive, basic hot glue will do.
6. Finish by tying some green wire, pipe cleaners, or ribbon around the stem for a vine effect.
Your canning jar lid pumpkin is now ready to be displayed.
