My daughter lives in California and we talk regularly. Oregon is strong into recycling, reducing, and protecting the land. There is not much convenient recycling. So, I don’t recycle like I did in Oregon and Washington State. I’m a 53-year-old mother of 2 (grown) and grandmother of 4. Wow, time flies.

I did have my best friend who is their daughter helping me though. It drove me crazy to see cans and bottles thrown in the trash when they should be recycled. I had to convince the family I was living with to have a bucket of stinky food underneath their sink and a barrel of stinky food with flies in it in their back yard.
