Get a special discount to the Southern Women's Show - - library card holders in Jefferson County can get to the Southern Women's Show, which will be held Thursday, Oct. 4 - Sunday, Oct. 7 at the BJCC.
Tickets at the door will be $10. But, library card holders can get a $3 discount if they buy their tickets online.

The downtown Birmingham Public Library has created a Southern Women's Show-themed book display on the second floor in the Arts/Literature/Sports department. It is full of books on fashion, cooking and more.
Also, Teresa Giudice of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey'' will speak at the Southern Women's Show on Saturday, Oct. 6 at 1 p.m.
