Quick question–How do I know what $ amount should trigger the ECB’s?…I have seen on here that @ 4 cents less than the actual amount should trigger the ECB’s to print. When ever I have asked at checkout they always say it has to hit the specified amount. The cashiers say it doesn’t show on their end if it has triggered or not. What do I do if it doesn’t trigger for the 4 cents less amount? add another item , then it will triigger or do I have to hit the amount before they hit the total button?

Thanks! How do you know about/get the MIR for the soap and thermacare? I don’t see it advertised or anything.

Usually I am not a fan of CVS but I cleaned up today!!! Here’s my deal…I did 3 separate transactions.
Transaction 1:
2 Irish Spring 3pk soap ($3 each) used one 50 cent coupon
1 Softsoap 4pk bars ($3) used one 50 cent coupon
1 Softsoap pump ($3) used one 40 cent coupon
I also scanned my card at the red box and got $1.50 ECB.
So $9.64 out of pocket
Got $6 ECB
Transaction 2:
3 Hallmark cards (99cents each)
1 Skintimate shave cream ($3.79) used 55 cent coupon
Total: $6.23
Used $6 ECB from transaction 1, so 23 cents out of pocket
Got $4 ECB (skintimate) and $3 ECB (Hallmark)
Transaction 3:
1 Skintimate shave gel ($3.79) used 55 cent coupon
1 Trim Emery boards $1.67
Total $4.97
Used $4 ECB from Transaction 2, so 97 cents out of pocket
Got $4 ECB
Also going to submit the items from Transaction 1 for the $5 Colgate rebate
So all in all it’s a $1.16 money maker with coupons, ECB’s and the Colgate rebate.
I may be shopping at CVS more frequently!!!
